Yesterday, the New York Times journalists Richard Fausset and Alan Blinder, shared about the efforts of American evangelical churches to assist and support Syrian refugees relocating to the United States. Following on my own experience in Germany, there is much to be gained from churches showing the love of Jesus to refugees. The article acknowledges that not all evangelical Christians are supportive of this, but the experience and witness of Christians entering into this ministry all over suggests that Jesus calls people to love the refugees and good things happen!
